In the neighborhood
Ridgely’s Market lies in the center of the neighborhood along the main thoroughfare, Washington Boulevard. It primarily sells beer and liquor, but also has a few snacks and pantry staples.
Rachael’s Dowry Bed and Breakfast opened in 2010 in a restored 18th century home on Washington Boulevard. The B&B offers a charming, intimate alternative to the many large hotels located just outside Ridgely’s Delight.
The neighborhood watering hole is Quigley’s Half Irish Pub on Portland Street, which provides a laid-back atmosphere for local patrons.
Walking by, it’s easy to miss the Starting Lineup Bar & Grille on Penn Street. The cozy restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and offers a wide selection of both food and wine.
Around the neighborhood
Pickles Pub and Section 771 are all staples for Ridgely’s residents, and particularly for sports fans. Located across from Camden Yards, both bars have full food menus and feature multiple large TVs and are typically packed on game night.
A short walk down Washington Boulevard brings you to Charm City Books, which opened in 2019. In addition to selling books, the shop hosts events for the community and has a second-floor space that can be rented for private events.
Suspended Brewery is a small neighborhood brewery open Thursday–Sunday in Pigtown. The brewer, who you’re likely to meet when you visit, produces a range of creative beers and often hosts popup food vendors who offer plant-based food options
