January Community Meeting
Due to the New Year’s holiday, the Ridgely's Delight Neighborhood Association meeting will be held on Thursday, January 2nd, instead of Wednesday, January 1st. The meeting will be held at the Caribbean Dynasty Restaurant, 647 West Pratt St., starting at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome!
The agenda will include:

Happy New Year!
Baltimore will really shine on New Year’s Eve, when thousands of people flock to the Inner Harbor to enjoy live performances ahead of a spectacular celebration. Pre-firework entertainment will begin at 7 pm followed by the fireworks and drone show that will occur simultaneously at the stroke of midnight. The Inner Harbor Ice Rink will be open until midnight on that night, so you can skate to the sounds of Baltimore’s best musicians.
Many Inner Harbor museums also have extended hours on New Year’s Eve. The National Aquarium is open from 9 am – 6 pm. Port Discovery will be open from 10 am– 5 pm and is hosting its annual Noontime New Year Event at noon. The Maryland Science Center is open from 10 am–4 pm on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day and is hosting its Midnight Noon event from 10 am – 2 pm.
New Local Brewery
Mystique Barrel Brewing and Lager House opened recently at 921 Washington Boulavard in Pigtown. They are currently offering 10 different beers and have a brewed in-house seltzer as well. Food options include pulled pork sliders; paninis; and bratwurst.
Westminster Catacombs Tour
Join Baltimore Heritage on January 25 for a tour of the eerie catacombs underneath Westminster Hall (519 W Fayette Street), and the graves that surround it, including the final resting place of Edgar Allan Poe. All told, the compact cemetery next to the University of Maryland School of Law holds over 1,000 individuals, including several prominent Baltimore patriots and civic leaders.
