Ridgely’s Record

Conway Park Planning Session #2

A large and engaged group of neighbors attended the second Conway Park Community Workshop on May 20. The session was a great opportunity for residents to share their ideas and feedback on the proposed plans for the north end of the park. If you weren’t able to attend that afternoon, we’d still like to hear your feedback. Presentation boards along with comment forms will be online for you to review until June 8 at tinyurl.com/conway-park-2.

Community Happy Hour

Neighbors will be taking this month’s Ridgely’s happy hour on the road. Join us on June 2nd for a fun-filled evening of food, drinks, entertainment, and games at “Friday Night Lots” at Hollins Market!

The event starts at 5pm at 1122 Hollins Street (just outside the market). It is family-friendly, pet-friendly and admission is free. There will be a variety of food vendors, live music, and games for all to enjoy.

Community Field Day

Please join us for a community field day in Conway Park, on Sunday, June 4, beginning at 2 pm.  Join us for volleyball and other lawn games. No experience or talent required! This is just for fun. BYO snacks, drinks, and chairs. Open to all ages. Invite your friends.

Historic Walking Tour of Ridgely’s Delight

Join your neighbors for an entertaining and enlightening walk through 200 years of the stories and history of where you live. Paul Rubenson will explain the origins, growth, and changes of Baltimore’s most delightful neighborhood, from the lives of its famous to its most infamous, and everything and everyone in between.

The tour will be on Sunday, June 18. Meet up at 11am, next to the Brooks Robinson statue across the street from Pickles.

Charles Street Promenade

On Saturday, June 3, Charles Street will be shut down to traffic from 10am to 6pm for a car-free festival. The Promenade features fantastic vendors, awesome attractions, live music, and pop-up activations. It is a great opportunity to enjoy Charles Street without the traffic.
