Ridgely’s Record
Ridgely’s Delight Association (RDA) November community meeting
There will be an online community meeting on Wednesday, November 11 at 7 pm. Anyone who lives, works, or owns property in Ridgely’s Delight is welcome, but preregistration for this Zoom event will be required. Tom Lenard, from Pickles, will be there to discuss the street closures in front of his pub. Sign up through the neighborhood website.
Voting in community meetings
In order to vote on a motion before the Ridgely’s Delight Association (RDA) or in its Board election, you must be a member of the RDA and in Good Standing. The Bylaws committee has published a guide explaining what that means during COVID times. http://www.ridgelysdelight.org/rda/voting
November Street Sweeping Dates
Automatic street sweeping has been canceled until further notice. If you’re able to help, please take a moment and clean in front of your house.
Trash is picked up every Wednesday.
Community clean up and dumpster
A neighborhood clean up is scheduled for Saturday, November 14. Meet at the community shed in the parking lot off of Burgundy Street. A dumpster for community use will be located in the 600 block of West Conway St., and should arrive sometime after 9am. It will be picked up approximately 4 hours later. Please do not dispose of any building materials. No lumber, drywall, siding, roofing material, etc. Empty or dried up latex paint cans are ok, but not oil-based paint. No electronics or hazardous material. Thanks in advance for helping keep our neighborhood clean.
Halloween Scavenger Hunt
More than 30 kids participated in the Ridgely’s Halloween Scavenger Hunt. A big thank you to all everyone that decorated/carved a pumpkin, and special kudos to Megan Moorer and Kurtis Donnelly for organizing. Photos are posted on the Ridgely’s Facebook page.
