August 6th National Night Out in the Park
The National Night Out is an annual event taking place this year on Tuesday, August 6, from 6 – 9 pm, in Conway Park.
National Night Out encourages people to get outside to meet their neighbors and interact with police and fire fighters. The event is meant to strengthen neighborhood spirit and build partnerships in an informal setting.
Bring the roommates, the kids or just yourself and enjoy an evening of socializing. Fire trucks are always a big hit with the kids. The Ridgely’s Delight Association will be providing hot dogs, burgers and veggie burger options and we ask neighbors to bring a side dish or dessert to share. BYOB. It’s always a good time.
Dogs are ok, but must be kept on a leash. If your furry friend has a people or food obsession, it might be best to leave them home. If you have questions, please email sharon@reuter.net
The 2024 Ridgely’s Gala
Step up to the plate for the Ridgely’s Delight Gala, our neighborhood's annual bash! This year, we're heading to the famed Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum for an evening of food, drinks, and baseball-themed fun. Indulge in an open bar from Pickles Pub and a delectable, ballpark-inspired meal prepared by Culinary Architecture. The evening will also feature an exciting silent auction and a 50/50 raffle.
Our featured speaker, Shawn Herne, Executive Director of the museum, will give a presentation titled “Our House: The Baltimore Rowhouse of the 1890s” providing an engaging look at the history of our own neighborhood. This is an experience not to be missed.
Tickets are available now for $80 per person, with proceeds benefiting the Ridgely’s Delight community. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this memorable evening and support a worthy cause.

Community Dumpster
The city will be dropping off a community dumpster on Conway Street on Saturday, August 17, from approximately 9 to 11 am. Stop by to get rid of unwanted household items and clean up some of the debris that collects on our streets.
Just a friendly reminder: Please keep commercial waste, appliances (like microwaves and air conditioners), and building materials out of the dumpster. Following these guidelines ensures we can continue to receive community dumpsters from the city.
