No July Community Meeting
There is no formal community meeting scheduled in July due to the July 4 holiday. RDA Board Members will be available for public comment on Wednesday, July 3 from 7-8 pm at The Starting Lineup (213 Penn). Come by and join them for a drink or pizza.
Ridgely’s Gala Tickets On Sale!

Tickets for this event are available now for $80 per person. Proceeds from this fundraiser support the annual operations of the Ridgely’s Delight Association. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this memorable evening and support a worthy cause.
National Night Out
Save the date! On Tuesday, August 6, Ridgely’s Delight will celebrate National Night Out with a potluck in Conway Park. This annual event encourages people to get outside to meet their neighbors and interact with police and firefighters. It is meant to strengthen neighborhood spirit and build partnerships in an informal setting. Watch this newsletter and social media for more details.
Free Composting Opportunity
The University of Maryland, Baltimore has two food scrap drop-off locations close to Ridgley’s Delight. These are free and open to anyone to use (you do not need to be affiliated with UMB).
Community Engagement Center (16 S. Poppleton St.). The bin is located along Booth Street next to the green fence.
Southern Management Corporation (SMC) Campus Center (621 W. Lombard St.). The bin is located in the courtyard between the SMC Campus Center and School of Nursing.

There will be a public community engagement session on the RISE 10-Year Vision for Downtown Baltimore! They want your help to design and envision a Downtown that is thriving, inclusive, and made for all of Baltimore.

Community Safety Walks
Join your neighbors for a safety walk through the neighborhood most Monday nights. It’s a fun way to meet new people, get some exercise, and help keep our community safe.

Phase II Plans for Rash Field Park
Concept drawing for Phase 2 of Rash Field Park will take several more years to complete have been released. The designs were developed to consider places for recreation and leisure with a large open lawn, extensive gardens, a beach, and several walking paths, including a leisure walk, a nature walk which winds through the gardens, and a fitness trail that borders the beach, terrace, and lawn.
