First Friday happy hour
Come meet your neighbors for another first Friday happy hour. This month, we’ll be at Pickles Pub, starting at 5:30pm on Friday, July 1. Everyone is welcome!
Ridgely Delight’s Clean Streets committee
Help us keep Ridgely’s Delight clean! Wanna pitch in? The easiest way you can help is by keeping the area and street around your home clean (keep trash in bins and lids tight). Interested in doing more? Join in on the Monday night Citizen On Patrol (COP) walks to help us pick up trash. Or, participate in one of our upcoming neighborhood/city cleanups which we will publish in advance. Still have more energy? Join the Ridgely’s Clean Streets committee to assist with outreach, signage, and fundraising.
Learn more at the July community meeting. Or, come share your ideas and join us at the clean streets committee meeting on July 12th at 6:30 pm. The meeting will take place at the tot lot (weather permitting). If you have questions, feel free to reach out to Julie Day (juliaannday@gmail.com) or Leslie Parks (lsessomparks@icloud.com)
Save these dates!
Ridgely’s Delight will be celebrating National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2 at 6 p.m. in Conway Park. Everyone is invited to the pot luck dinner where we have a chance to meet each other and our first responders. Look for more information on the Ridgely’s website and/or the neighborhood Facebook events page.
Plus, mark your calendar and save the date for the first ever Ridgely’s Gala, a delightful night out. This premier event will be held at Suspended Brewing Company on the night of August 11, starting at 5:30pm. Ticket sales and more details will be available soon. Watch the neighborhood website and the Facebook page for more information.
Community dumpster
There will be another dumpster on Conway Street for community use on the morning of Saturday, July 23. The dumpsters are generally dropped off in the neighborhood around 9am and then picked up again by 11am.
Please do not use it for commercial waste, appliances (including microwaves and air conditioners) or building materials. Abuse could limit our ability to receive dumpsters from the city in the future.
