Pumpkin Halloween Scavenger Hunt is Back!

After a brief hiatus, Ridgely’s Delight is once again hosting a Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt for neighborhood children. While children are trick or treating in the neighborhood the evening of Halloween, they will also be able to search for numbered and lettered pumpkins throughout the neighborhood to decode a secret Halloween message. Upon decoding the message each child who participates will be able to claim a special bag of Halloween treats. Pumpkin scavenger hunt materials for children will be available for pick up in the tot lot on Thursday, October 31 from 4:30 – 5:30 pm. All those who participate in the pumpkin scavenger hunt will also be able to cast a vote for their favorite decorated pumpkin and a prize will be awarded to the neighbor who receives the most votes.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

We are currently looking for volunteers to decorate a pumpkin (with a number and a letter) to be placed out on the front stoop no later than 4 pm on Thursday, October 31.  For those interested in volunteering to decorate a pumpkin please email Suclay62@gmail.com. Once an accurate head count of volunteers is known, volunteers will receive an email that will assign a number and letter to be included on the decorated pumpkin.  Any additional questions please reach out to Suclay62@gmail.com
