Old Business – should we keep reminding them to include us in the process of new development around Camden yards? Yes, whenever the opportunity presents itself or at least quarterly. Question is what do we want? Can we have a representative at the meetings? WE don’t want this new development to be an island. WE can’t really make any moves until the next step is announced.

Death of Ms. Louise – lived on Portland St and lived in the neighborhood for 60 years.

Billy brought up the need for some fundraising to maintain bank account. 50/50 raffles are popular at neighborhood happy hours. Discussion of using venmo (would be Billy’s personal account) vs. Zelle which can use any bank account – this way could be linked to RDA bank account. Billy will look into this and present to next meeting.

Location for this meeting – feedback. Some preferred Pickles bc Startling lineup is a bit small. It was tight meeting but we had a great turnout. AV setup is easier. Advantage is to support a neighborhood business. However, if there’s a contentious issue, there will be more people coming to a meeting. Question about whether if everyone who commented lives in the neighborhood. Board voted to hold meeting here at Starting Lineup Again. But we are still considering other venues such as Caribbean restaurant.
